Dagwood WEST Obituary
(Douglas William):
Peacefully at Chalmers Rest Home and Hospital on Saturday, 29 October 2016, in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of Alma (deceased). Loved dad and father-in-law of John and Carolyn (deceased), Allan and Val, Morris and Lynda, and Margaret and John Hull. Loved grandpa and great-grandpa to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations to the 'Salvation Army' would be greatly appreciated and maybe left at his service. A celebration of Dagwood's life will be held in The Chapel of W Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 2 November 2016 at 2.00pm. Followed by a private committal service.

"call doug" will not be heard in the house again. "Doug will know what to do" will be missing from the conversation. Our lives will be missing his wisdom, his "hey boy, I have some plants for you" no longer bringing a smile to our faces. be at peace with Elma and don't give the good lord too much grief over how he should be running the place. missed by the whole family
