In short, Dan was a shining light.

I was fortunate enough to work with Dan in Melbourne at GTB. I knew from the first day he joined we'd be fast friends. Besides being fellow Kiwis (and therefore having an instant connection) Dan was a personable, friendly, and humble guy who was liked by everyone in the company.

On a Friday, I'd always be dropping by Dan's desk to check if he was coming to after work drinks, because they wouldn't be the same if he wasn't joining!

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Dan's passing and want to share my deepest condolences to his family and friends. I know that he will be very missed far and wide.

Faye, I was so very sorry to hear the sad news. Words are so inadequate but my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
