Peacefully at home after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Marie for 60 years. Much loved Dad of Tania and Richard. Cherished Koro of Christopher and Catherine, Rana and Mark, and Edan. Loved friend of Don. Felix was farewelled at a private family cremation.

Sad to read that uncle Felix has passed away. Much aroha to the whanau pani. When I was home in June I asked aunty Alice how uncle was. Always remember uncle always had a smile and humble.

We miss you Felix. Tuesday mornings are not the same without you. You were always there up in the front row with a cheerful smile and a friendly word to your fellow class mates. The only time you didnt turn up was whitebaiting season. Our love and sympathy to your Family.Rest in Peace Felix Waitara Strength and Balance Class.

My deepest condolences to the Ngatai whanau. I remember Felix well from when I lived across the road from Don and Tania in Lepperton...he had a cheeky smile and was a very friendly man....

Beloved brother of the late Topsy and Frank Habib (Waitara), Brigid and Scotty (both deceased) Te Mahoe, Bubbles and Jack Garthwaite (deceased) (Auckland), Squeak and Snow (deceased) (Putaruru), Alice and Barry Pepperell (Waitara), Mike and Roz (Perth). Sadly missed Uncle Felix of the Doorbar, Habib, Garthwaite, Tarei, Ngatai, and Scott whanau.
