David CALDWELL Obituary
Suddenly at home in Hawera on Thursday 8th January 2015, aged 68 years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Jocelyn. Loved father, father in law, and grandad of Joseph and Kyla, and Adam and Isabella (New Plymouth), Timothy and Tam, and Liam, Elliot, and new baby Ella (Brisbane). Loved son of Joan and the late James Caldwell (Waikanae), and brother and brother in law of Fiona and Peter Hawker (Adelaide). Messages C/o PO Box 297 Hawera 4640. A service for David will be held at the Normanby Hall, 95 Ketemarae Road Normanby, on Wednesday 14th January 2015 at 1.30 pm. Private cremation thereafter.

It was a great shock to hear of David's death. I offer my condolences to Jocelyn and family. It has been a good while since my Hawera days but David's ideas and deeds have remained a strong presence throughout.

Deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. My condolences to Jocelyn and all the Caldwell family. Dave and Jos were a source of much cheer and good humour during my stay in Hawera. His passing leaves much sadness, but his memory will always bring a broad smile.

Very sorry to hear. Condolences to the family! As a friend of Josephs I remember David always being cheerful, and supplying a vast array of instruments. We made a heck of a noise on them at their place when we were young!

Sad news to read of David's passing. We worked together on projects at Kiwi and later years on and off. A very nice man.
