Born 11.8.1933 Wrexham, Wales. Born Welsh, chose to be Kiwi. Passed peacefully on 17 April 2024, aged 90 years. Very precious Husband, friend and soulmate of Maureen (nee Grey) for 58 years. Treasured Dad of Emlyn and Trefor. Respected father-in-law of Hilary. Fond Taid of Lewys, Isaac and Annie. Loved only uncle of Debbie (Tas).

A Memorial Service for Taffy will be held at The Methodist Church, 261 Bank Street, Te Awamutu on Wednesday, 24th April at 1.30pm. All communications to the Francis family, PO Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Over the years I enjoyed many chats, wise words, generous spirit and massive sense of humour. I'm pleased Dave won't suffer any more. My condolences to the family and arohanui Maureen.
