David HUNT Obituary

Passed with family by his side and into the presence of his Lord on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, in his 88th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Maree for 68 years. Dearly Loved Dad of Beth & Jarrah, Karl & Arnita, Leah & Steve, and Tim & Sharon. Much loved grandad to his 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will always carry his stories, wisdom, and witty humour in their hearts.

David's faithful life, generous spirit and deep love for his family and Lord will be treasured always.

According to David's wishes a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service is to be held at the Wave Church, Opunake, on Monday, 22nd December at 10.30am. Messages to the Hunt Family, c/o [email protected] or 12 Autere Street, Strandon, New Plymouth 4310.
