David HUNT Obituary

We are so sad to hear of David's passing. David and Maree have been a huge inspiration and blessing to us and we send our love to Maree and the family. A mighty man of God whom we will see again.

We are saddened to hear of David’s passing, yet we are heartened to know that he is now dancing in the presence of the Lord.
David and Maree’s friendship, encouragement, and teaching have been foundational to our lives. We are thankful to God that we wound up together in Opunake fifty years ago.
May the Comforter be with you Maree, Beth, Karl, Leah, Tim, and your families at this time. We love you.

To all the family.. it´s with sad hearts but great memories of a great faithful man of God. Who´s teachings are still set fast with in us while fellowshiping together at the Opunake Church, such great times. Fond memories of David as a friend and a pastor. David had a strong prophetic gifting and cared about people and touched the lives of many people.

Our thoughts and prayers to Maree and family at this time,
Dave was more than an inspiration to me. He heard directly from God and spoke a word over me one day in that little church in Opunake that was a significant milestone in my life. It completely changed the trajectory of my life and I will truly always be eternally grateful to him for listening to God that day!

David was a real blessing and father in the faith to me when I moved to Rockingam. He would always encourage and pray for me he always made time for people and to give them words of hope and life. I always felt at home when I visited living waters church in Mandurah. The presence of God was so beautiful.
He will be sadly missed but OH what joy for him now as he relaxes and enjoys his new home in heaven with His heavenly father and friend,
you have run your race and fought the good fight now your rewards, pastor David a true father lived a life laid down. Thank you

I will always remember the time that Pastor Dave visited our church in New Plymouth. His teaching was impactful and his faith contagious. His messages had a lasting impact on me. My deepest condolences go to Davids family. A life well lived and a faith spread far and wide.
