Vicki and I had the pleasure of meeting David through our time at the Whangamomona Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and his quirky sense of humour, particularly the emails. His knowledge of history in Eastern Taranaki is well documented, and the indelible mark that he left on "The Forgotten Highway" and the Republic will live on forever! Our thoughts are with the family.
