Sending our deepest sympathy to you all. Dave was a real character. I remember going up to his workshop on Mangorei Road and chatting away and him showing me all sorts of cool skills. Also going to see him for his birthday to celebrate along with my dad Launce. Rest in peace.

To All The Whitehead Family, Our love and thoughts are with you all we were great friends with Dave, Mavis and Ross in their many years up Mangorei Road all now at peace but never forgotten, Dave was a real joker having our girls on especially with needing help ear marking his bees so they didn't get mixed up with Leuthart's bees then having to tell them it was a joke, they were heart broken as it was going to be their first job at 5 years old. Rest in Peace Dave.

Loved by family and friends, Dave passed away peacefully on the 3rd December. Dave was an inventor, joker, storyteller and jack of all trades. A gathering to remember and celebrate Dave's life will be held at Barclay Hall on the 12th of December from 9.30 - 12.00pm. We welcome all to come along, share a story or two and connect with others.
