Sorry to hear lately that dawn passed on, in may of 2019. We met on a plane to NZ in 1985, and we were always great friends. I miss her deeply, much love from Gerda in nelson.

I have so many memories and stories of how Dawn shaped my life and the encouragement she gave me to believe in myself to what I could do. Because of this I was able to fulfil a dream to join the NZ School of dance to which I did for 2 years. I still enjoy dancing today and sharing this joy with others. Rest In Peace Beautiful lady,

Dawn was my very first dance teacher.. My mother Ina Farley use to house maid for her and I would watch her teach girls in her garage until I joined in. That was 59 years ago when I was aged 4yrs old. An exceptional lady, an inspirational teacher, a legend who will never be forgotten as she lives on in memory and life stories. Thank you for those wonderful years.

Dawn was an inspirational, imaginative and energetic teacher of dance. Her teaching ability was of world class. She not only taught her pupils good posture and how to Point their feet but she instilled in them confidence, good work ethic and how to programme one's life. Oh what a Dame. Farewell to you lovely Dawn. From Colleen and Gary Baird, Hayley, Andrea and Millen.
