Dawson DAVY Obituary

DAVY,
Dawson Arthur (Daws):

Daws passed away at home after a brave battle surrounded by family on Wednesday, 4th February 2015. Dearly loved partner of Maureen and good friend to Cameron. Most awesome, strongest and inspirational dad to Phillip and Anita; Beryl and Keirann. Loved grandad to Shakiya, Tayla, Analeea and Adelaide. In preference to flowers a donation to Hospice Taranaki would be appreciated and may be left at the service. All messages to the Davy family please send to C/- PO Box 218, Stratford 4352. Thanks to all our family for their love and support. Family and friends are invited to attend a service for Daws at the St John's Presbyterian Church, High Street, Hawera on Saturday, 7th February at 10.30am.

To my Baby Brother/Sister Phill and Beryl,Daw's Partner and entire Dawson Family.Sincere condolences to you all at this very sad time this is such a tragic loss in which I am so lost for words.
Daws you were always there for all of us and for this I am so grateful.I will hold fond memories of you and my family growing up raising us and will celebrate your life that we have been so lucky to have shared and have been part of.I remember the time I was given a pet lamb from my Uncle Russ in NP and named her Candy. She grew up to be a fine young sheep and you let me feed and nurse her on our Kapuni farm.I would call her from the fence by her name and she would come running.Well I don't remember too much at that young age but I do recall you and mum saying to me that Candy was too big and old and a man said he wanted to buy her to take her to a bigger farm because this is what happens.I thought it was a good idea at the time as I then didn't want her getting too big for the paddock so agreed lol.Till this day I still don't know what ever happened to my pet sheep and I don't ever recall you telling me either and for this I am grateful to you too lol May you rest in peace Daws forever in our hearts Rosie xox
