Mum says "A big thank you to my family, especially my immediate family - Sandra, Gordon, Brian and Nigel. Thank you to all my friends and neighbours for your love and support over the years. Thank you to the Rhapsody Hospital, Ambulance and Taranaki Base Hospital staff for your care and dedication. A special thank you to Doctor Alison Gadsby for your care and attention."
Donations to Hospice Taranaki would be appreciated and may be left at the service. All messages to 'The Giddy Family', C/- Abrahams Funeral Home, PO Box 4016, New Plymouth.
A celebration of Dell's life will be held at the Chapel of W Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth on Thursday 20th February 2014 at 2.00pm. Followed by a private committal service.

GIDDY, (Dell) Dellma Oraine. — Dear Mum, what courage you have shown me over the years, with all you have been through. You are an anomaly. I have the greatest admiration for the way you have handled yourself with strength and perseverance and the unexpected cheeky sense of humor and knowing smile. Thank you for all the love, encouragement and support you have given me during our life together, you became my best friend and confident, I will miss you so very much.
