To Scott, Darren, Todd and families we are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember your mum and dad and how they loved and cared for you all. We will have to keep a date at Swashbucklers to raise a glass to them. We will miss them heaps and feel very lucky to have known them.

We were sad to hear of the passing of our friend Dennis. After many years only caught up with him a few months ago.
First met him at Robert Stones Engineering in the early seventies in the fabrication shop, whilst commencing a fitting apprenticeship. He was a very proficient welder and structural fabricator having a keen eye for measurement and producing quality work with pride. Second best did not feature in his work. Later he owned a car painting business which was beneficial to his many friends, inclusive of a selection of my many 4 wheel bombs and rockets.
Dennis was always fun to be around with his cheeky smile and sharp wit. He possessed a very considerate and caring nature, a person who was always willing and available to help or assist others. He was very passionate in helping apprentices learn and develop to their full potential and being a sociable person had a large circle of friends. A big but gentile and kind man.
Spent much time over that period with Dennis and Heather at their place. The banter was always entertaining and enjoyable and Heather was a tremendous cook, a factor which starving apprentices who were flatting at the time appreciated.
Darren, Todd, Scott and families you were really privileged to have such a great mum and dad.
Our sincere thoughts are with you at this time.
RIP Dennis, old friend.
