Dad, today is our last day together on this journey of life. We have been through happy times and sad times and often cried together and laughed. You gave me freedom of a voice and opinions, values and priorities, nothing was a hassle as long we didn´t take the TV remote or ask for money. You taught me to be a card shark and I earned my money by being on your team and thrashing your kiwi worker mates who came for that critical game of trying to beat him. I was getting offers of $20.00 to switch teams. I remained faithful to my Dad. You were my hero then I think I became yours. Go with my love and respect Dad. Yours always - Joanne Murray son-in- law Trevor, grandchildren Jessica and Carl Frandsen, great-grandchildren Jack, Caitlyn, and Ryan along with Kendrick (Rat) Murray and Nicola Howells, Grandchildren Regan, Dex Murray and their mum Jenna Foley our family friend. Fly high and fast Dad, grandad and Old Pop. Dex will keep you up to date on the rugby scores.

To the davy family so very sad to hear to des pasting always remember the good times worked with des at kiwi 1980s great guy good worker.I will always remember him .Blessings Ross Riddick Palmerston North.

to my friend dess who l have known for 50 plus years l knew this day was coming l am so glad that me and brother tony went and seen him in hospital while he was still alive and kicking its with sadness that l am unable to attend my friends and work mates funeral today my condolences to you and your family and my heart goes out to Joann and Steven God bless u and keep u all in these difficult times ahead
