Donald BURGESS Obituary
Donald Walsham:
Peacefully with his family by his side at Taranaki Base Hospital on 27 August 2019, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Shona for 56 years. Loved father of Craig, Tony, and Scott. Treasured Grandpa of Ezra. Special friend of Tracy, and Jean. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Florence and Malcolm, John and Joan.
'You never gave up,
now rest peacefully.'
A celebration of Donald's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 2 September 2019 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

To the Burgess family, Dad was grease monkey at Fitzroy Auto for a number of years, Don was a great mechanic knew how to fix problematic problems I had a HQ premier he fitted a new idler arm something to do with the steering six months later it failed a WOF Don said he would fix it told me to go away ask no questions, it never fail another WOF I think a hammer was involved our deepest sympathies

Donald Walsham:
Sadly passed away on 27th August at Taranaki Base Hospital. A great mentor and fatherly figure to Kerrie ’Boy’ Thomson-Booth, Warrick Booth, and staff at Fitzroy Automotive. A member of the workshops "A" team, his automotive knowledge of all things the ‘Best of British’ and reminiscing that went with it will be greatly missed.
