Time to rest now Doreen. During my time at Summerset I always enjoyed our chats and your sense of humour was one of a kind. Your thoughtfulness towards our children was always appreciated.

more than 60 years ago. Doreen played basket ball for I think Old girls Blue, she was the goal shooter, I was Goal defence for Embassy. So we partners in lots of games, I kne
w once Doreen had the ball anywhere in the circle she would shoot, and 9 out of 10 went in. So different today. Then when we were both married with our families, they had a batch close to us at Urenui for lots of years. Jack & Graeme just had to go up the the village most nights for the "Paper" of course had to check out the Beer at the Pub as well. Not to be beaten we would sit in one of the batch's where we could watch our children play, With our drinks. So many Happy memories, Doreen the lovely friendly person she was, will be missed. Our sincere sympathy Barbara, Warren, Karen Smart and my grandchildren.
