I'm very sorry for your loss from my family to yours. My mum Heather Doelman was an old friend of Dot and they kept in touch until mum's passing last year. I vaguely remember a holiday at the farm when we were kids (1 million years ago!) and more recently a gift from your mum for my baby (now almost 6), which was beautiful hand-knitted hat and cardy. She was so talented. Be kind to yourselves, Arohanui x

So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. We frequently saw each other when growing up on Pukearuhe Road and took part in many of the same activities. Over the past few years I have chatted to her at markets where she sold her cleverly worked knitting of baby clothes and other handmade wares.

My sincerest condolences to the Enright Family, on the passing of Dot as I have had great relationship with Alan as I assisted in moving the Enright Family up to the Tarata farm many years ago from their farm in Hurleyville. There are many memories to be held of their exploits since then. May she now RIP and once again rejoin the family.
