A extremely sad day yesterday when I heard that one of the nicest people I have known had passed, Dougie I so enjoyed our conversations in the smoking shed at work. ROACH, Doug. — Taken from us 20 May 2013. Our mate, work colleague, brother and friend has sadly left us. It’s hard to imagine you won’t walk into the workshop, flash that big cheeky grin or entertain us with stories of year’s gone bye. Your personality was bigger than you were the gentle giant amongst us. May your next journey be on a Harley, the sun always on your back, a green bottle or a bourbon in one hand and a rollie in the other. You will be greatly missed at work and at the racetrack; Team Eagle has lost a valued member that’s for sure. Have a drink with Rusty and we will remember the both of you, friends reunited.
