My sincere condolences to Eddies family and friends. So saddened by Ed's passing. I remember Ed from when we played bowls at Hawera BC. Ed's personality, sharp wit and "strange" sense of humour took me a while to manage. A skilled bowler with a great tactical approach, whilst Skip.
After retiring from active bowls we enjoyed Ed's participation in HBC's Wednesday social group and after that group folded, due to the aging of participants, I continued to visit Ed at his home, having a beer and reminiscing.
Thank you for being a great friend Eddie.

To the Berry Family,
Sorry to hear of Dad's passing on Monday. Fond memories of us all growing up together in the Ramanui area and also your parents liking of my Dad's honey.
From Brian Harris, formerly of Hawera now in katikati.
