Suddenly at home on Wednesday, 19 May 2021, aged 87. Dearly loved wife of the late Malcolm. Loving Mum of Colleen & David Hurd, Barry & Caroline, and Dianne. Adored Gran of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Messages to the Speirs family may be left on Elaine's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/elaine. A service to celebrate Elaine's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 25 May 2021, at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

Dear Spiers family. It is with sadness I read of Elaines death. I had only known Elaine for the past 7 years but really enjoyed delivering her medicines to her from Devon West Pharmacy. She was a really lovely, warm caring lady who always had a bright smile and greeting no matter what. I shall miss her friendliness.
