Eleanor O'BYRNE Obituary
Eleanor (nee Sexton):
Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday, 21 March 2022, aged 78. Dearly loved wife of Errol, happily married for 58 and a half years. Caring Mum of Wendy & Geoff, Peter & Rachael, and the late Carol. Thoughtful and loving Nana of Ellen, Ryan, and Daniel. Loved sister-in-law of Basil (dec) & Jenifer, and Aileen & Ian Lord. Messages to the O'Byrne Family may be left on Eleanor's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/eleanor. A service to celebrate Eleanor's life will be celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 106 Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Thursday 24 March 2022 at 10.30am. Eleanor's family would like to include as many as possible, but under current Covid-19 restrictions, numbers are limited to 100. If you would like to attend in person, please email Errol on eobyrne.nz@gmail.com. Vaccine passes will be required.

To Errol, Pete, and Wendy,
so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She is such a treasure, always smiling, positive, and loving. As kids a trip out to the farm, or even a trip to Hawera (when you moved into town) was an occasion to taste her delicious baking. Wishing you all peace in treasuring your family memories. Carol has her mum with her again.
