Was so sorry to hear the sad news about Ellen. Living over the road from our family, she and Lance were great neighbours and were both so happy to help Mum in her later life.

Hi Guys so sorry to read about the passing of your lovely Mother & Grandmother. It brings me back to the days when we lived in Matapu. There was a church just down the road from the Matapu Hall. We all went along to Sunday School & there was a teacher by the name of Miss Robbins she was our teacher & good @ it. (Those were the days) As the yrs passed by there was a Mr Lance & Mrs Ellen Smith whom we again meet up with through the STC & Caravan Club. In the recent yrs we would see Lance & Ellen about the town. My thoughts are with you all @ this sad time & trust that you all stay strong together.
