SLUCE,Elma Ruth (nee Corry):
1933 - 2022
Aged 89 years. Died peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital the morning of Sunday 18th September 2022. Much loved aunty of Robb and Sue Corry, Waveney and Jared, Shikain and Jayelin, also Diane Blake, Anouska Short and family.
The family would like to thank those that have supported Ruth since Warwick's passing. In accordance with Ruth's wishes a private service will be held. The family hope to hold a Memorial to celebrate her life in the next few weeks. Any messages can be sent to the Corry Family, PO Box 135, National Park 3948.
Sleeping peacefully and remembered with love.
Rest in peace with Warwick, Alice and John.

Very sad to read of Ruths passing. I meet Ruth at the New Plymouth Aero Club in the late 1960s and we both organised the NZ Assn of Women in Aviation 10th Rally here in New Plymouth. We continued to be aviation friends throughout the years and she will be remembered at our upcoming Rally in Hawera over Labour Weekend
