Esther SPITTAL Obituary

SPITTAL, Esther Gladys. - Peacefully passed away at Papatoetoe Residential Care on 25 January 2014, aged 92. Loved wife of the late Allan. Much loved Mum to Margaret and John, Jenny and Brian, Philip and Sue, Tricia and Pete (UK), and Robyn and Rick (Australia). Treasured Granma of Gareth, Claire, Tristan, Kelly, Harriet, Kathryn, and Esther, great Granma to Rory and Zoe. In lieu of flowers donations to Totara Hospice, PO Box 75 560, Manurewa 2243 would be appreciated or may be left at Esther's funeral service.
A funeral service for Esther will be held at Manukau Memorial Gardens Chapel, 357 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe on Friday 31 January at 11am. All communications to:

Gladys was a dear & valued Honorary member of our Rotary Club.
She was a constant "behind the scenes" helper at our many working bees. Always so bright & happy, with a friendly smile.
We have missed her presence since she was hospitalized & will remember her cheerful self and all those great home made king size muffins & big yummy date scones!
Such a wonderful lady at rest.
Most sincere condolences are passed to her family.

We remember with affection the wonderful night we presented her with a "this is your life" 80th birthday surprise birthday party, we put on for her....
