Ethel May (nee Hotter):
On Friday 14th April 2023 as the result of an accident, aged 93 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Douglas. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Suzanne and Alistair Lewis, and John and Philippa Bates. Loved Nana Bates of David and Lauren, Sarah; Megan, Tristan and Charlotte, and Callum. Great-Nana of Austin, Emma, Hunter, and Ryder. Dear friend of Christine Taplin.
"On our farm I worked each day and this is where I wished to stay."
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate both Ethel's and Doug's lives together at Tairoa Lodge, Hawera, on Monday 24th April 2023, commencing at 1.00pm.
