Peacefully at home after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Marie for 60 years. Much loved Dad of Tania and Richard. Cherished Koro of Christopher and Catherine, Rana and Mark, and Edan. Loved friend of Don. Felix was farewelled at a private family cremation.

Passed away peacefully on 24th July 2025. Loved son-in-law of the late Bob & Trixie Neil. Loved brother-in-law and friend of Michael & Maureen, Trevor & Sandy, Peter, Kerry, Juliet & Ray and Kathryn. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

My deepest condolences to the Ngatai whanau. I remember Felix well from when I lived across the road from Don and Tania in Lepperton...he had a cheeky smile and was a very friendly man....

Kua moe a tatou tungane a Felix. Thursday 24th July 2025. Dearly loved son of the late George Te Wawaro and Kathleen Katene Ngatai. Beloved brother of the late Topsy and Frank Habib (Waitara), Brigid and Scotty (both deceased) Te Mahoe, Bubbles and Jack Garthwaite (deceased) (Auckland), Squeak and Snow (deceased) (Putaruru), Alice and Barry Pepperell (Waitara), Mike and Roz (Perth). Sadly missed Uncle Felix of the Doorbar, Habib, Garthwaite, Tarei, Ngatai, and Scott whanau.
