Francis CRAMER Obituary

PETER. We met up some 65 years ago at the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH in Inglewood. You were the pa systems man. That friendship has endured the years poking the borax at each other both in person and via the air waves. You will be deeply missed.

Our family had many fun times with you Peter. Nick named "The Inglewood Flasher" by the school children tramping on Mt Taranaki when you waved a mirror at them during their lunch break! Keeping us company as we drove to and from the province on many occasions. We will always remember many times like this. 73/88 from ZL2VQ and family. Fly freely our friend.

Farewell, Pete.You seldom left your chair but travelled the world and even into space.You saw few but knew many. You had a huge repertoire of jokes, and loved a visitor on whom to practice. A gadget man, who loved to tinker.You found great pleasure in music and had an extensive knowledge of all things jazz and Big Band.No complaints, just a joy for life and people.

I was very blessed to have known Peter! He and Dad (Henry Brown) were in Lions together and my sister and I grew up with Peter in our lives. A true legend!!

The Lions Club of Inglewood announce with real regret the passing of Charter Member Peter Cramer. All members are requested to attend Peter’s funeral service at the Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon St. East at 10.30am on Saturday, 20th May. Club shirts and jackets please.
