Francis Patrick Hurley had a great love animals. He would put the cat in the back of his trike and in the pram. He liked to feed the lambs that had lost their mothers. One day he came home from with 2 Guinea Pigs to care for, somehow they disappeared suddenly. He would climb in the boxthorn hedge looking for stray cats, come out all scratched. He had no fear when riding his 2 wheel bike, could be risky at time. He went to Alton School and Patea High School.

When we asked him to be best man at our wedding and had to wear a suit, he said okay but the trousers must have slim legs. Noel and Frank enjoyed a beer or two whenever they met. May the Angels walk with you in Paradise. May God Bless you. Fly free dear brother from Jenny & Noel Mullis

So long Frankie,
It;s been an absolute pleasure to have known
you.I remember there were times when it was a mad wild ride full of speed bumps and stop signs.
Amazingly no one,no one got arrested (bit of luck there) somehow we managed to stay under the radar.
Say hi to Ross and Shooter for me.
