Garth was one of my real-life heroes. He dedicated his life to helping others in an area of the community that is often vilified; the world of addiction. He challenged our ideas, open minds and hearts and fought hard for all people on the margins. He did so with passion, love and a sense of humour. He changed me and how I see the world can never be unchanged because of Garth. He also gave me lots of flowers, which are flourishing in our garden, and by my desk is a wee Thunderbirds Virgil bobble head that he gave me from his wildly eclectic collection of things. Garth touched my heart and will stay there forever. Remembered always. X

I am really sad to hear that your lovely brother has passed away Heather and Alastair (and I know how fond he was of you Bronwyn).
He was a true original.
Funny and creative.
A handsome man who could send himself and others up. He loved a good dance party but was always concerned about social justice.

He would of course cringe if I spoke to highly of him or showed to much emotion. Lol.
But my thoughts are with you at this time.

Much Love
