My fondest memories of Gazza are of his giant grins and twinkly eyes, when you just knew he was taking the Mickey, the salesman in him, he had the `gift of the gab´ - he could talk the hind leg off a donkey and sell it back to the master for double the price! Garry was such a character, with a quick wit, always laughing, always smiling. I am going to miss our Wingnut, but I am sure Max was waiting for his buddy, and they will walk the paths together again.

To Cindy, girls and extended whanau, our condolences .. Gary's passing is still sinking in. I have very fond memories of working with Gary and Cindy and enjoying weekend BBQ's where Gary and I would talk and talk (Gary liked a good chat) about life in general. Gary's Mauri was strong and bright ( Mauri Ora) , something I detected when I first met him, that boundless enthusiasm and energy was reassuring to me personally and contributed to the "golden age" of doing business in Taranaki. Ironically before knowing anything of Gary's passing , some photo's from that time emerged - Gary , Cindy , myself , Jake ,Sam and Tracy in branch ....
I'm glad to have known you Gary
