George, dear cousin,

As children we shared many happy times in Taranaki - especially in Matapu and Ohangai - bound together by family, friendship and the simple joy of those early days. We gathered so often with Uncle Fluff and Aunty Leth, and every Christmas at our grandparents´ home on Hastings Road, creating memories that have lasted a lifetime.

Those years may not have been filled with affluence, but they were rich in innocence, freedom and laughter. I am deeply grateful to have had you as my cousin, and to have shared such a precious part of our lives together.

Precious thoughts are with those you have left behind ... you will be sorely missed.
