To George´s whanau I extend my condolences. George share milked on our farm at Whakamara and was well respected by my aunts, Wenda and Bunty Scott.

Sad news about our past chairman of Hawera's Wesley Methodist Church Committee. George's wise words and no- fuss approach and guidance on our everyday matters of the church is a legacy that we will always remember him by. Above all that, he was, quite simply, our friend and teller of wonderful stories of a world now past. Rest now George- 'well done, thou good and faithful servant'- Arohanui Rae and your family. Amen
