On Friday, 11 March, peacefully at Avonlea est Home, Taumarunui, in the presence of family. Aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Percy (Tom) Goldfinch. Loved mother, mother-in-law, mentor and friend to Peter (deceased) and Carole, Sheelagh and John Fife, Vivien and Gene Davies, Christine and Mark Thornburrow, Judy and Steve Milner, Annette and Weston Kirton. A very special Nana Goldfinch to 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Avonlea Rest Home for their loving care of Mum over the last 6 years. A beautiful, hard working and gracious lady now at peace. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of The Immaculate Conception, High St, Taumarunui on Tuesday, 15 March at 11:00 AM followed by a family interment at the Ohura Cemetery.
