We were sorry to read of your mother's passing away. She often helped out on school outings and in the classroom as a parent help. When I moved to Hawera we usually seemed to chat in the supermarket and she'd update me about you all.
I last saw your mum at Arabica Cafe. We'd moved from Taranaki so hadn't seen each other for some time. We gave each other a hug and had a quick catch up. So that's my last memory of her which I grateful for. She will be missed by many people.

My deepest sympathy to all the Forsyth family.I have fond memories of my visits to the farm in my capacity as Sales Rep over many years. Jim was the Best advocate in all of Taranaki for the stock feed product I sold .Glenys and he would always greet me with a big smile and Glenys would busy herself with a cuppa for us all ,while Jim informed me of his latest quirk or invention ,and Glenys not to be outdone told me the latest garden alteration or house idea, and laughed when I tried for the umpteenth time to get Jim to come with me for the day , to extol to other farmers the benefits of buying my product.Glenys along with Jim ,hold special memories of my years on the road visiting them on the Farm ,It is with sadness I read of the passing of Glenys ,A Ray of Sunshine who brightened my days on the road ,A person ,loved by many who will be missed by you all as a Family .Draw strength that she was a special person who's touched many lives with her Smile and Love .God Bless LIndsay Maindonald, Eltham.

Debbie, Tracey, Troy, Brad, Cindy and families - so deeply saddened with the sudden but peaceful passing of your Mum - Glenys.
We met Glenys and Jim when they first moved to their newly purchase Kina Rd farm - where many said they would never break this land in. But in true fashion Glenys and Jim worked together developing the farm whilst raising their family.
Glenys was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother - she was an avid supporter of all her childrens activities especially sport. Her distinctive voice could be heard every Saturday at rugby and netball ( sometimes quite vocal & biased)
Glenys was a wonderful cook and baking was delivered to anyone who was unwell, just had a baby, had a bereavement.... she delivered gifts to newly engaged couples, newborn babies.
Our families spent many many times together - guyfawkes, night shooting, weddings, building killing sheds, cowsheds, beach baches etc Jim and John especially enjoying their rums.
Glenys you have been a wonderful friend - rest up now with your beloved Jim after 18yrs apart.

Debbie, Tracey, Troy, Brad, Cindy and families - such sadness that Glenys passed away so suddenly but peacefully.
We met Glenys and Jim when they first moved onto the Kina Rd farm - many saying they would never break in this land.
Together over the years they did just that whilst raising their family.
Glenys was a wonderful wife, mother and grandma - she was an avid supporter if all you kids and your sporting events ( very vocal sometimes too)
Glenys always made time for friends and family. She baked for anyone who was sick or had just had a baby.
Your parents were wonderful friends for many years - our families enjoyed guyfawkes nights, shooting, building the beach bach, weddings.....
Jim and John especially enjoying the Rums.
Rest in peace Glenys with your beloved Jim - together again after 18yrs. xxoxx

I always enjoyed my visits to Kina Rd, Aunty Glenys always welcomed you into her homely environment with Uncle Jim. Thinking of all of you at this time. You had a loving Mum and Nana, she was proud of you all and whenever we caught up she was able to give me updates of what all the grand kids were doing and achieving. She is at peace now. RIP. Dear Forsyth family,
May the love and memories you shared with your beautiful mum provide you with comfort at this sad time. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
I have treasured memories of Glenys that go back to when Debbie and I were teenagers. Both Glenys and Jim made me feel so welcome. Glenys was an amazing cook and baker - I can't remember a time when the tins were empty. The pool was always ready to swim in and there was always a bed or home-cooked meal on offer. Your parents were your biggest supporters and were always out there in the sporting arena encouraging you all. Whether it be netball, rugby, tennis, cross-country, athletics...They have made you the incredible people that you are today! Rest in peace Glenys...you are now with your dearly loved Jim xx
