So sorry to hear that "cuz"had passed. A total gem of a man who was of great support to so many in the community. He will be sorely missed. Deepest sympathies to all the family.

What a great guy Gordon was. A super RD 22 delivery postie. A tennis player, even with his pencil jammed in behind his ear, such neat games we had, so much fun, what a cutter of the ball, one of the best.
Will be such a sad loss he will be for you Ally and your family.

Such an energetic man who gave off positive vibes wherever he went. Your devotion to Gordy was also clear to see and I wish you peace of mind and happiness in your future.

So sorry Ally, to hear of Posties passing. So many fond memories, firstly as a postman at Toko, then as our Sparky. A legend in my mind. Thinking of you all. How did that pen, always stay behind his ear???

To Gordies family. Lovely memories of our wonderful Huiroa Postman. On Saturdays he would bring in his flagon to share or have a cuppa. Sometimes our kids would wait at the gate and go for a ride to the end of his run with him. RIP Gordon. You will be sadly missed.

RIP Gordy... aka "Sparky" what a privilege to have known you and enjoyed a few beers with you at the Razza...my condolences to you Ally and all the families..you always had a gift for giving...Rest Easy.

Remembering the days when Postie would come and do work at the Stratford Abbatoirs when Grant worked there he loved coming over to the house for a cuppa especially on the days I had done my home baking which was once a week. Lots of fun and conversation with him. Memories are wonderful things for everyone to treasure.

I fondly remember Gordon. He would pinch one of my sandwiches out of the smoko room, check out to see what´s to eat in your fridge, stopped at my letterbox and put lollies in there for the kids and of course his cheeky laugh.
Gordon was a genuine good guy.

To Gordy´s family. We have many happy memories from our Douglas days. Greatest mailman anyone could have. He would pickup anything and deliver it to us. Friday breakfast, take the girls to school if it was wet. Great neighbour to Graham´s mum in Stratford. He kept a close eye on her. Rest in peace now Gordy.

I have known you Gordy for such a long time especially when you were looking after the Rugby Club Pemier teams. You always had a smile and a chocolate bar for everyone.
