Margaret CAVEY Obituary

Surrounded by her loving family, Mum passed peacefully on Wednesday 24 September 2025, at Jean Sandel Retirement Village, in her 85th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Les, and loving and treasured Mum of David, Judith, Alan, Linda, and Helen.
Mother-in-law of Dale, Toni, and Harry. Loved Nana to her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Loved only daughter of the late George and Marjorie Hoskin, and daughter-in-law of the late George and Phyllis Cavey. Loved sister-in-law and aunty to the Cavey families, and loved cousin and aunty to the Jones families. Special thanks to Taranaki Base Hospital, especially the Oncology Unit, and the caring staff at Jean Sandel Retirement Village. Messages may be left online at wabraham.co.nz/notices or posted to 'The Cavey Family', c/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340. A service for Margaret will be held in The Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Monday 29 September at 10.30am, followed by interment at Okato Cemetery at 1.30pm.

So sorry to hear of Margaret´s passing. We had many trips with Les and Margaret during our caravanning days in the Taranaki Caravan Club. Even after Margaret moved into Jean Sandel, I would often see her there. A lovely lady. Condolences to all her family.
