So lovely to reconnect with you guys recently. Dougy and Grant made the trips to Korito Road in the dodgy weather worthwhile. Many hours enjoyed reminiscing and tall tales over a cuppa, waiting for the rain to clear. We will really miss Grant a lot. Think of you guys often.

To Dougy and family deepest condolences for your loss of one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to ever meet, Herbie. Thanks Herbie for the memories. You made a memorable trip to Australia a bit over 37 years ago to Alison and my wedding with your best mate Brian. That was pretty special for you to do that. I love all sorts of bikes, Brian loves his bikes and I know you do as well so I feel that link. Go the Romaniacs yeah.

To Dougie and family, we are so sorry you lost your smiley happy brother. He was truely an amazing human.. the will to keep on going working and smiling and away was so strong. Was always so happy to help us out when ever we asked for a hand and are forever grateful. We will miss his friendly waves and smiles as we passed by. Bryce will always keep towing his boat down the rd to do a what he loves.. grant said he loved seeing him go by in the early morns. Knew he was out there doing it. Grant, you always said there´s only one way to leave Kent Road! You´ll be missed immensely my friend. Unique, intelligent, interested, great talker, researched and full of advice always followed by that infectious laughter. In life you only meet genuine people like you very rarely. Herb you´ll always ring loudly in my thoughts, Swifty,Swifty,Swifty listen!

So sorry to see your families have had to say a final goodbye to Grant having been part of such a hard working strong farming family. Doug and Lorraine were always so welcoming when our branch of the family moved to Kent Rd in the 80s.

I´m only a new neighbour, and net Grant just once... as sick as he was he was out there doing it and in that short time he was telling me how much he loved his family.

Doug, Lynley and family. Sad to hear of Grants passing. I have fond memories of us moving into the neighborhood and the Herberts as our neighbours, never a dull moment. Grant had such a infectious laugh, with a happy go lucky attitude and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Really saddened to hear of Grant's brave battle & now his bon voyage. Grants effervescent, open, honest & fun personality radiated to those around him. Certainly deserved all the TLC, within his final months of life. Godbless & RIP. From. Radich family.

So sorry to hear that Grant has passed away. The last time we saw him was at Lorraine's funeral not that long ago where he and Grant shared a joke about him being Grant's namesake. We were not to know then that the next time they would meet up would be in a very different place. My thoughts go to all the family with memories of days gone by.

Sorry Doug to hear of your loss happy spirited grant he knew how to live and laugh things off he was great to work with in the shed when herdtest was done.he will be missed by his energy of work on and off the farm.now he can rest with no pain.be with his mum and dad laughing again.

Grant..... Had no idea you had a massive challenge. Your life's largest. You were always the most welcoming friendliest and large as life person on my Radar. I remember you being brought home in the bassinet and your Dad putting you on the couch, announcing to me, "Grant Anthony.... he has a movie star name". Your Dad was the proudest I can ever remember seeing him and I was honored to be the 1st cousin to meet you. I followed you the next 54 years and was thrilled the way you embraced the Herbert farm, knowing that it would be in Herbert hands keeping our heritage alive. May the legacy continue. So soon my friend, gutted you had to leave us so soon.
