Gwyneth WARE Obituary

The family wish to advise of the passing Gwyneth, peacefully at Te Whatu Ora – Taranaki on the 3rd April 2026, she was 96 years of age. Gwyneth is survived by her children Brian Sykes, Graeme Sykes, Julia Kennedy, Michael Brassem and Deborah Ware. Gwyneth was a grandmother to Rhys Ware, Erika Ware, Louie Kennedy and Lucy Kennedy. The family would like to thank Jean Sandel Retirement Village for their patience and wonderful care along with the staff of Ward 4 at Te Whatu Ora – Taranaki in particular Dr John and HCA Wendi. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cameron and I send our condolences to all the family. Gwen was such a strong lady, nothing got in her way. She put me to shame with her zest and will power when we all went on holiday years ago. I always admired Gwen's "nothing can stop me attitude".
