On behalf of my Dad, Peter Houghton (nearly 85yrs), we wish to pass on our deepest sympathies to you Noeline and family. We were neighbours many years ago in the mid-late 60's on the Main North Road Brixton, in a dairy factory house. Jim was a tanker driver when Dad was a casein assistant in the Clifton Dairy Factory. Dad also recalls Brian being a truck driver and sometimes on the tankers. Stephanie and I used to dress your kittens up in dolls clothes and push them around in the prams with Lynette (we recalled your name was Lynley) & Marlene. Thinking of you all. Peter Houghton, Stefny (dec 2010), Michelle, & Kerry

An apology if incorrect. With a brother Brian, I believe Jim was a piper in the very early years of the City of New Plymouth Pipe Band. If correct - my sincere sympathy to Noeline and family, also Brian, with fond memories of our piping days in the late 1940's and early 1950's.

The years bring change to our connections we form wirth folks over the years, but through it all the memories remain. We will enjoy eachother's company, and laugh once again over some silly situation, or more likely for you and I, no reason at all. My condolences to you and yours Noeline- soon the skies will clear, and we will see the new bright star in the heavens above us called 'Jimmy Dunn' . Arohanui to you and family.

It always brings back memories when one reads of the death of an old school friend. Both Jim and Noeline were a bit senior to me at Lepperton School but very well respected by both staff and pupils, someone for us to aspire to.
Noeline, and your family, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences too to the Dunn and Symes families.
Love to you all,
Janet Finer. (nee Hunger).
