Harry LOONEY Obituary

LOONEY, Harry Edward:
8/08/1936 - 12/03/2015
Eldest son of the late Leo and Doris. Loved older brother of the late Keith Looney. Harry tied his favourite Taupo fly recently and put them in a box for his grandchildren, he has now slipped away to quiet waters leaving behind a loving family, proud of the heritage he gave us on his ancestors land. Loved father of Vicki, Steven and Brenda. Much loved Grandad and teacher of all things to Ben and Kate Mclean, Harry, and Mack Looney, Sam Shiels and Lauren. Loved brother-in-law of Maureen and family. Tripod carrier, driver and companion over many miles during 56 years of marriage to Fay. You will never be far from my shoulder. Fay and family invite Harry's friends to 283 Koru Road, New Plymouth on Sunday 15 March 2015 at 10:00am to celebrate his life, his music and tell a few stories. A private cremation will be held on Monday 16 March 2015.

Sleep peacefully dearest Harry.
