Our thoughts are with you on this difficult day and we are saddened we cannot be there today. Auntie Hazel was a legend and I appreciated her support when we lost my parents. I fondly remember visiting the Meier family farm and particularly remember uncle Joes model airplanes. Our family's are forever joined.
RIP auntie Hazel

I'm so very sorry to hear of Hazel's passing. She was the most lovely, caring, family-oriented person. She was so proud of you all.
Every time I came up to Taranaki Hazel was always so kind & generous. She was such a good laugh and always had the jug on for a cuppa. Everywhere she lived, she had beautiful gardens which I always admired.
I will miss our chats and popping in for a visit. Rest In Peace dear Hazel. See you next time I visit Bev.
Love & hugs to you all

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words about Mum. She truly was one of the best. She was an amazing mum who never raised her voice. She loved her family more than anything in the world and she was a great inspiration to us all. She worked long hours on the farm and in her garden and our home was always spotless. She was always there for her family. Summers spent at Opunake Beach in the batches. Love you so much Mum. Forever Loved Forever Close

I was a close friend of Bev's. In her final months, I came to know her wonderful mum, Hazel. We kept in touch during this time and she warmly welcomed me into her home. I found her to be a very caring and considerate lady with an incredible strength. She'd suffered the greatest heartbreak a parent could ever know, yet amidst her sorrow, she still took the time to comfort and help Bev's friends through their grieving. I'm so very sorry to hear of Hazel's passing. My thoughts are with Pete and her lovely family.
