6.2.1960 – 11.4.2022
Heather passed away peacefully after a dignified and courageous battle with cancer at Hollywood Hospital (Perth, Western Australia) on Monday 11 April 2022 with family at her side. While regularly visiting and maintaining her Kiwi connections Heather has lived in her adopted home of Western Australia for more than 40 years. Darling wife of Tony and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jasmin and Matt, Tom and Tessa, Charlie and Alice and Ben and Lauren. Devoted Nana to her precious grandchildren. Loved daughter of Mary and Gordon Gladding (both dec). Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Dennis and Terina Gladding (New Plymouth), Margaret Betteridge and Barry Turner (New Plymouth), Shirley and John Dudli (Te Awamutu) and Peter and Sandra Gladding (Perth). Loved and respected aunt to her nieces, nephews, and their families on both sides of the Tasman. To celebrate Heather's life a service will be held at Fremantle Cemetery Chapel, Perth, on Saturday 23rd April 2022 at 9am (1pm NZ time).
