Helen DRAVITZKI Obituary

DRAVITZKI, Helen Grace. - Michael and Fiona, Claire, Megan and Philippa sincerely thank everyone who has surrounded our family with loving support since the sad and sudden loss of our precious Helen. To all who have been praying for us, please know this has helped.
To our fantastic families, friends, Kakaramea District and Parish Family who were all absolutely there to support us in many ways - thank you. We were grateful for all the delicious food, for the phone calls and visits, help on the farm and the glorious flowers that Helen would have so loved. We received hundreds of beautiful cards and read each verse and message, they were a bright spot in each day.
Thank you Brian and Pamela Darth for the superb job in assisting us to give Helen a fond farewell, and especially thank you Brian for bringing her home to Taranaki.
To Fr Brian Carmine a big thank you for helping us throughout this time and for the encouraging words at Helen's Requiem Mass. We will try to be Helen's breath in this world, breathing out God's love.
Also we thank our wonderful catholic priests – Fr Boyce (Hamilton), Fr Lawn, Fr Butler, Fr Casey and Fr Sanjay for bringing God's comfort and care to us and our wider families and for attending the Rosary or Requiem and the many Masses said.
Thank you Sacred Heart Parish for allowing us to farewell Helen from the Church where she began her faith journey at Baptism.
A very heartfelt thank you to all who came to Helen's Rosary and Requiem Mass, we wish we could have spoken to and thanked more of you than we were able. We were humbled by such support.
A special thank you to Helen's friends – you brought so much laughter and joy to her life and you will always be welcome at our home.
All donations were gratefully received by CanTeen Taranaki and will help other young cancer sufferers.
Thank you to St. Mary's Students who formed the Guard of Honour for Helen, she would have been most proud. To her cousins and friends who formed the Guard of Honour at the Cemetery, she loved you all very dearly. We have 19 years of beautiful memories which we will treasure, and we look forward to the "Helen moments" in our lives when we sense that she is very near.
Eternal Rest grant O Lord to Helen,
May Perpetual Lights shine upon her,
May she Rest In Peace.
"The world always looks brighter from behind a smile". Helen had the most beautiful smile, let us all try to smile more on life's journey.
