Honoured to have attended this funeral, the numbers of which spoke of the true honest and giving nature of Helen. Of all the testaments the greatest came from her grandchildren all of who stood before the collected mass of mourners and spoke of how much she was valued in the lives. The service finished and the very hills of Tarata burst into tears......

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Helen's passing. So many fond memories of Helen: outings together with the Cartwright family growing up, as Joan and my Mum were great friends.
And then we reconnecting during our involvement with AFS. Many memories of bringing the students out to the farm. It was always a highlight of their year.
