My deepest sympathy to Ella's family on your loss. I grew up in Eltham and as a child stayed with Ella's family. Ella's always made sure I was happy and had something to keep me occupied. I left Eltham but still saw Ella's on the odd occasion and she never changed she was always delighted to see me and me her Over the years that changed and we never saw each other again. If there was anything I could say to Ella it would be thank you so much for all the help and guidance you gave me. True friends are hard to find and you were one of the best. RIP Ella I know how much your family will be missing you.

Bob and family. So sad to hear about Ella. Such a wonderful lady and friend. Many laughs from the past, one in particular was the outhouse saga, hence the significance of the company float in Elthams Centenary. Ella's loyalty and caring for dad Reg was very special. Love and thoughts from the Thorne family.

To Bob, Margo and families, so sorry to hear of Ella's passing. She was such a treasure and I will never forget her kindness and fun nature during our days at the rennet company. She was a truly beautiful lady.
