Hilda OLIVER Obituary

OLIVER, Hilda. - Passed away surrounded by family at Chalmers Hospital, New Plymouth on 14 November 2013. Almost 90. "At home with the Lord she loved." Much loved wife of the late Eric. Loved mother of Allan and Glen (Manukau), Elizabeth and Robin Dunlop (Masterton), Margaret and John Henwood (New Plymouth), John and Rosemary (Inglewood), and Ruth and Hugh Wilson (Inglewood). Dearly loved Grandma of Paul and Suzanne, Katie and Kyely, David and Juliet, Ann and Shaun, Matthew and Robyn, Sarah, Mark, Cameron and Lydia, Camille and James, Christelle and Matthew, Chad, Lydia, Bethany, Hannah and Jemimah, and 14 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the caring Chalmers staff. Messages to R Wilson, 72 Lower Durham Road, RD8, Inglewood.
A service for Hilda will be held at Inglewood United Church at 10:30am on 30 November, followed by burial at Inglewood Cemetery.

Dear Ruth, Hugh and Family,
From the depths of a blizzard in central Alberta, we send our love and condolences on the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. We have fond memories of her sweet spirit and her love for the Lord, so we eagerly anticipate the day when we will all be reunited in heaven. May you be blessed and encouraged as you look forward to that day. We'd love to have our instruments tuned and ready for Saturday in Inglewood, but we'll gather around the piano up here instead and sing some old favourite hymns that Hilda would have loved. We'll be thinking of you and praying for you. With love from all of us to all of you, and greetings to all our mutual friends in Inglewood
