Of Katikati, formerly of Palmerston North. Suddenly at Tauranga Hospital on Wednesday 4th August 2021, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret. Loved dad of Trish and Graeme Voelkerling (Tauranga), Bryan and Kylee (Napier), and Denise and Mick Blackwell (Brisbane). Loved poppa of his 9 grandchildren and poppa Howie of his 16 great-grandchildren. A service for Howie will be held in the Chapel of Pyes Pa Memorial Park, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga, on Monday 9th August, at 2.00pm. Dear Martin Family,
Sorry to hear of Howie's resent passing. We have great memories of the many years he worked here with us at Valhalla. Even after leaving here Higgins would always send him out in his concrete truck so he kept in touch with us. Of course he still continued to have stories to tell! We remember his smile and the great camaraderie he had with us all. Love and best wishes.
