On Sunday 22nd February 2026, Iain Simpson Hall-Jones (Jonesy) passed away peacefully at home. Messages may be left online at wabraham.co.nz/notices or posted to the Hall-Jones family, C/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340. A celebration of his life will be held in The Chapel Of W. Abraham, 366 Devon St East, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 3 March 2026 at 10.30am, followed by a burial at 12.30pm, at Mangapouri Cemetery.

I knew Iain back in the 1970s in Invercargill. Such a hard case and the life of any party. I had enquired as to his whereabouts over the years as would have loved to have had a catch up. Just popped his name into google only to find out he had passed away last month. I am so sorry to have missed you mate xox Much love to Iains family and friends xoxoxox
