Ian Jordan: MNZM
Very peacefully at Tainui Home on Thursday 5 July 2018. Aged 89. Dearly loved husband of Joan. Loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Jane, Helen and Stephen, Claire and Kieran. Loved grandfather of Joy, Thomas, Alex, Andrea, Matt, and Luke. Loved brother and brother-in-law of David (dec) and Penny, and brother-in-law of Brian and Barbara. In lieu of flowers a donation to The Cathedral Project may be left at the service. The family would like to thank the Tainui community and staff for their compassion and care. The service to celebrate Ian's life is to be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday 9 July at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

Dear Joan, Claire and Kieran and Mitchell family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ian (Mr Mitchell) as I always called him. I have the most wonderful memories of a childhood spent with you all. He was a larger than life man and so much fun and I know that he is now at peace. I have been thinking of you all at this sad time in life.
