We are so sorry to hear of Jacqui's tragic passing. She came down after mum passed in October and said she was now the matriarch of the street. So sad. Love the Hill girls, 2 doors down.

Jacqui - I was fortunate to meet you in 1979 at the Nurses Home as we both started our nursing career.
We shared a wonderful friendship and I thank you for those memories.

So sorry to hear that Jacqui has passed away. We were mums together at Inglewood Playcentre, so many wonderful memories of those days and I particularly remember Jacqui´s absolute dedication to early childhood education, her way of been able to organise everyone and everything and her love for all the kids!

The sky has surely gained a bright star that we wished was still here on earth with us. All my sympathy to Jacqui's Family as you navigate this time. I hope you find some comfort in the memories and stories you will hear and share and in knowing how precioua you all were to her. Jacqui was such a wonderful person who worked with challenging children and their families in such a beautiful, kind, calm and caring manner. She always focused on the child and how to best help them and enrich their lives. She was very good at fostering relationships and looking for solutions which made her invaluable in the classroom. Devastating loss of a beautiful mentor and friend. I have worked with Jacqui for many years at IPS. She was always available for a good chat and advise. Will be sadly missed. We are away, so can't make the funeral. Condolences Pete and family.

Met Jacqui at antenatal class. We clicked thru our children as they went thru playcentre, kindy, aquatots, primary and high schools. Kept the friendship up as we both became teachers aides. She was by far the most organized, energetic, loyal and loving friend who always made time for everyone else . These traits made her a wonderful mother and I admired her .

Megan, Jason, Charlotte, Matthew and whanau, thinking of you all at this extremely hard time in your life. I recall Jacqui coming into kindergarten to drop off or pick up Charlotte and Matthew from Kindergarten, a lovely lady gone way too soon. Kia kaha

Jacqui... I still don´t believe it is real. Thank you for being one of my best friends. Always there for me through everything. The good, the bad and the ugly. You were an absolutely blessing and I really couldn´t have got through some things without you and Kerrin. Our dinners out and going to shows etc will not be the same without you. But we will find comfort in knowing you are there with us always xxx Pete, Megan, Jenna and Lulu, Jason, Peter, Trent, Kern, Charlotte, Matthew, Gracie and Crash. My heart is broken for you.
