Sincere Condolences to Jim's family. Friends during our early working years in Hawera we shared many an adventure generally involving our respective cars of the time. Life eventually took us in different directions and without contact for the last 20 years. So saddened to hear of Jim's passing and his final battle but fully endorse his bravery . RIP Jim.

RIP Jim, you fought a brave battle, it was so lovely to catch up with you over the years. Condolences to you, Bev & Donald and Valerie & Brian, & your families, you were such a strength for Jim & I know how much he appreciated you with your never ending support. He will be missed by many friends & family. I hope he´s driving a really fast car wherever he is such a petrol head that he was. Stuart & I enjoyed catching up with him at the Okoia Hill Climb many times

My condolences to Jim's family and friends. I have great memories of our time in the 70's racing MX and his partnership in Levings & Hey when they sponsered me. RIP Jim :-(.

Sad to hear Val & Bev but what a very brave decision. Last time we called in he certainly was struggling. Great memories on the farm and actually Richard knew Jim before me so the conversation always got around too cars. We really enjoyed his visits at Dad & Mums or us on the farmlet. He would always say, I´ve only got 5 minutes and we would enjoy his company for much longer than that.A great cousin RIP Jim
